December 2017: growth[period] is proud to support the American Heart Association. Founded in 1924, the American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.
The American Heart Association provides public health education in a variety of ways including CPR education training, healthy lifestyle education, providing science-based treatment guidelines to healthcare professionals to help them provide quality care to their patients, and educating lawmakers, policymakers and the public to advocate for changes to protect and improve the health of our communities.
December 2017: growth[period] is a proud supporter of the Henry L. Stimson Center located in Washington, D.C. The Stimson Center is a non-profit and nonpartisan think tank dedicated to finding practical solutions to global security challenges.
The Stimson Center was founded over 25 years ago, and since then has worked to reduce transnational threats to global, regional, and national security; enhance policymakers’ and the public’s understanding of the global security agenda; and engage both civil society and industry in problem-solving to strengthen existing governance structures.
November 2017: growth[period] is proud to support NEXT for AUTISM. NEXT for AUTISM (formerly New York Collaborates for Autism) was founded in 2003 by Laura Slatkin and Ilene Lainer. The mission of NEXT for AUTISM is to transform the national landscape of services for people with autism by strategically designing, launching, and supporting innovative programs.
NEXT for AUTISM has built a portfolio of programs with respected service organizations, medical centers, universities, and other educational institutions. Each new initiative is aligned with the corresponding life stage of individuals living and growing with the disorder. growth[period] is pleased to help NEXT for AUTISM reach their goals of creating and supporting high-quality programs that maximize the potential of people with autism through each life stage.
October 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support Hadassah Medical Organization’s (HMO) Campaign to Fight Breast Cancer.
Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to its partnership with the land and people of Israel. The Hadassah Medical Organization is at the forefront of breast cancer research, responsible for several major advances in the global medical community’s understanding of the disease, pioneering new treatments and helping survivors live longer and stronger. Today, HMO doctors are building on these breakthroughs to find a cure for breast cancer.

September 2017: growth[period] executives were honored to attend the Hope for the Warriors’ Got Heart Give Hope Gala on September 27, 2017 at The Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. The Got Heart Give Hope Gala is an annual event honoring our nation’s service members and their families and their striking stories of recovery and success.
The event featured keynote speaker General Robert B. Abrams, the 22nd Commander of United States Army Forces Command, and was emceed by Rick Allen, a NBC sportscaster. The Vigiano Family Hope & Courage Awards were presented to selected service members and military families who demonstrate both hope and courage in the face of extraordinary circumstances.This year’s recipients included Sgt Dana J. Abudayeh, USMC, Sgt Mario D. Alcala, USMC (Ret), SPC Hope LINDER, USA, SPC Gabby Mack, USA, Bob and Cindy Roberts, the proud parents of SGT Kristie Roberts.
The mission of Hope For The Warriors is to enhance the quality of life for United States service members and their families, nationwide, who have been negatively affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors seeks to ensure that the sacrifices of wounded service members, and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.

September 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support Friends of the Connoles. Friends of the Connoles is an organization with the goal of helping individuals with accumulating medical bills as the result of a series of health issues.
August 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support George Mason University’s Annual Business Celebration, an event put on by the George Mason University School of Business to celebrate the accomplishments of the School of Business and its alumni. The celebration includes a networking reception and award presentations for the Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award, the Alumni Service Award, the 20 Prominent Patriot Class Award, and the Emerging Business Leader Awards.
July 2017: growth[period] is proud to have supported the Trustees Council for Penn Women for the University of Pennsylvania. The Trustees Council for Penn Women aims to support, foster, and promote the advancement of women and women’s issues with the University of Pennsylvania, which enriches the University of Pennslyvania community as a whole.
The Trustees Council for Penn Women focuses on improving the environment for women faculty, students, administrators, and staff by ensuring that women have a voice in the community, utilizing women as leaders, and creating mentors and partnership between students and recent alumnae.
April 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support the Newseum which is an interactive museum that promotes freedom of expression and the five freedoms in the first amendment to the United States Constitution while tracing the evolution of print and electronic communication from earliest days of the United Statesto the technologies of the present and the future.
April 2017: growth[period] is proud to announce our support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year (MWOY) campaign, a spirited annual fundraising campaign in communities across the US in which participants create teams to compete for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. The titles are then awarded to the man and woman in each community who raises the most funds during the ten-week competition period, with the top local winners becoming eligible for a national title. Funds raised through this friendly competition are invested in research to advance breakthrough therapies to treat blood cancer, to support patients in the local communities, and to fund blood cancer education and support.
Through annual events like the MWOY campaign, LLS has raised over $1 billion to invest in research, education, and support. LLS is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures, and ensuring access to treatments for blood cancer patients. The organization has over 300 active research projects exploring different treatement avenues and partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, patients support services, and advocates in order to support blood cancer patients around the world.
