February 2018: growth[period] is proud to have supported the Trustees Council for Penn Women for the University of Pennsylvania. The Trustees Council for Penn Women aims to support, foster, and promote the advancement of women and women’s issues with the University of Pennsylvania, which enriches the University of Pennslyvania community as a whole.
The Trustees Council for Penn Women focuses on improving the environment for women faculty, students, administrators, and staff by ensuring that women have a voice in the community, utilizing women as leaders, and creating mentors and partnership between students and recent alumnae.

February 2018: growth[period] supports the Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Scholarship in honor of Gina Montalto, who was one of the children killed in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018. The scholarship fund was set up to help students with the cost of post-secondary education.

February 2018: growth[period] is proud to support the Eden Reforestation Projects. Founded in 2005, the Eden Projects is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that plants millions of trees every year to recreate healthy forest systems that restore hope, alleviate suffering, empower people, and build local economies in impoverished communities.
The Eden Projects starts by hiring the local villagers to plant trees in Nepal, Haiti, Madagascar, and Ethiopia. This gives them a decent income so they can provide for their families again. As the reforestation effort goes on, healthy forests begin to emerge and the negative effects of deforestation begin to disappear.

February 2018: growth[period] is proud to support the American Heart Association during the month of February 2018. Founded in 1924, the American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.
The American Heart Association provides public health education in a variety of ways including CPR education training, healthy lifestyle education, providing science-based treatment guidelines to healthcare professionals to help them provide quality care to their patients, and educating lawmakers, policymakers and the public to advocate for changes to protect and improve the health of our communities.

January 2018: growth[period] is proud to support Jillian’s Jitterbug Foundation. Jillian’s Jitterbug is dedicated to keeping children with disabilities mobile and independent by donating equipment to families in need of financial support.
Jillian’s Jitterbug Foundation’s goal is to help children that have difficulties walking independently become mobile by providing financial assistance for families to purchase equipment that allows their children to become independent. Jillian’s Jitterbug will financially assist families in purchasing but not limited to wheelchairs (power chairs and pushchairs), Ankle-Foot Orthotics (orthopedic leg braces), arm crutches, adapted bicycles, and walkers.

January 2018: growth[period] is proud to support the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. Located in Washington, D.C., the Museum’s primary mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge about this unprecedented tragedy; to preserve the memory of those who suffered, and to encourage its visitors to reflect upon the moral and spiritual questions raised by the events of the Holocaust as well as their own responsibilities as citizens of a democracy.

January 2018: growth[period] is proud to support the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes. The mission of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes is to help severely-wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses, and to inspire other organizations and the general public to participate in this effort.
Since 2004, the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes has provided disabled American veterans from Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn with millions of dollars worth of Emergency Financial Aid and support services.

January 2018: growth[period] is proud to support the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), a non-profit animal rescue organization saving the lives of thousands of homeless and abandoned pets each year. LDCRF rescues abandoned or displaced dogs and cats from the threat of euthanasia in over-crowded shelters or other at-risk situations and places them for adoption into loving homes.

January 2018: growth[period] is a proud supporter of Scotland Storm Community Development. Scotland Storm is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides free after-school and summer academic and sports programs for children in the historic Scotland Community in Potomac, Maryland.
The organization was founded by Chris and Lauren Mead, who recognized a need in their community; some students in the Potomac, Maryland public school district did not have the requisite resources and skill sets to excel in school. By founding Scotland Storm, Chris and Lauren provided an opportunity for these students to gain much-needed academic support and guidance.
The mission of Scotland Storm is to provide students of the Scotland Community in Potomac, MD with the academic support and foundational skills needed for success in school. Scotland Storm believes that success in school will open countless doors for these students throughout their lives, and they want to play an active role in making that happen.
