September 2017: growth[period] executives were honored to attend the Hope for the Warriors' Got Heart Give Hope Gala on September 27, 2017 at The Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. The Got Heart Give Hope Gala is an annual event honoring our nation's service members and their families and their striking stories of recovery and success.
The event featured keynote speaker General Robert B. Abrams, the 22nd Commander of United States Army Forces Command, and was emceed by Rick Allen, a NBC sportscaster. The Vigiano Family Hope & Courage Awards were presented to selected service members and military families who demonstrate both hope and courage in the face of extraordinary circumstances.This year's recipients included Sgt Dana J. Abudayeh, USMC, Sgt Mario D. Alcala, USMC (Ret), SPC Hope LINDER, USA, SPC Gabby Mack, USA, Bob and Cindy Roberts, the proud parents of SGT Kristie Roberts.
The mission of Hope For The Warriors is to enhance the quality of life for United States service members and their families, nationwide, who have been negatively affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors seeks to ensure that the sacrifices of wounded service members, and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.
