Corporate social responsibility is part of the fabric of growth[period]'s business and culture. growth[period] Supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 15th Annual Joker's Wild Casino Night

February 26, 2011: growth[period] is proud to annouce our support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 15th Annual Joker's Wild Casino Night, which took place at Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia. This Casino Night raised funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which works to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality care.

growth[period] Supports the March of Dimes and CEO Courtney Banks Honored as a "Heroine in Technology" Finalist

November 12, 2010: AFCEA and the March of Dimes joined together to present the "Heroines in Technology" black-tie awards gala, and growth[period] CEO Courtney Banks was proud to be nominated as a finalist for the award. The awards honor women in the technology field for their devotion to community service, and recognize women employed in State, Federal, or Local government who exhibit extraordinary volunteerism in their endeavors.

growth[period] Participates in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Ninth Annual Golf Tournament & Auction

October 18, 2010: growth[period] was proud to participate in the 9th Annual Golf Tournament & Auction for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)at the Washington, D.C. Trump National Golf Club. The Golf Tournament & Auction was held to raise critical funds for NCMEC, a non-profit organization established in 1984 to build coordinated, national response strategies to address the problem of missing and exploited children, establish a missing children hotline, and serve as a national clearinghouse for information related to these issues.

growth[period] Supports the Fisher House at the Third Annual Trusant Eagle Classic

September 24, 2010: The 3rd Annual Trusant Eagle Classic Golf Tournament took place on Friday, September 24, 2010 at The Links at Challedon Golf Course in Mt. Airy, Maryland, to raise proceeds for the Fisher House organization. NSAWW registered a foursome to support the Tournament.

growth[period] Continues Support of USSS Robert Rafter Memorial Golf Tournament

May 7, 2010: The 8th Annual Robert Rafter Memorial Golf Tournament was held by the United States Secret Service Employee Recreation Association on Friday, May 7, 2010 at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. The event is held yearly to support the wife and five school-age children of Robert Rafter, a ten year employee of the U.S. Secret Service who died suddenly on September 12th, 2002 at the age of 42.

growth[period] Underwrites First Annual Hope for the Warriors "Got Heart, Give Hope" Gala

April 22, 2010: The Hope for the Warriors' First Annual Black Tie "Got Heart, Give Hope" Gala and "Hope & Courage" Award Ceremony took place on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Union Station in Washington, D.C. The event honored U.S. military heroes and their families and raised over $200,000 in support of the Hope for the Warriors' mission, which is a "promise that the sacrifices of the wounded across military service branches and throughout the nation will not be forgotten, nor their needs unmet."

November 18, 2009: NSAWW's CEO Courtney Banks talks about her principles and experiences running a small business at Washington Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business" Dinner and Awards Ceremony. She was recognized as a "Rising Star" for her work growing NSAWW.
