February 2016: growth[period] is pleased to welcome Susan Goldberg to our board of Strategic Client Advisors. Ms. Goldberg is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong clinical background in both chronic and acute care settings, and has extensive experience incorporating case management practices to build cost containment strategies through coordination of medical services. She is a highly skilled leader with a background in quality improvement analysis, financial management and budgeting, and staffing training and patient education.
Prior to joining growth[period], Ms. Goldberg was an RN Quality Improvement Coordinator for IPRO ESRD Network of New York, where she participated in the design, analysis, and evaluation of quality improvement activities and established relationships with End Stage Renal Disease stakeholders and professional organizations. She also served as the RN Clinical Supervisor, Corporate Employee Health Services Department, at NORTH SHORE – LIJ Healthcare System, where she oversaw 35 professional clinical staff and coordinated rapid response for acute and first air treatment, body fluid exposures, and infectious disease treatment options for the healthy system's employee population of more than 50,000 staff members.
Susan has Master's degree from Columbia University in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education as well as Masters degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has also earned a Certificate as a Occupational Health Nurse Specialist.
In addition to her illustrious career in healthcare, Ms. Goldberg is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) who has directed meetings and travel departments for Nobel Prize-nominated non-profit organizations and world renowned human rights organizations, managed large operational budgets, designed and executed large domestic and international events. Her range of experience and depth of knowledge will make her a valuable addition to our client advisor team.
